About Cecilia
Cecilia Gomer is an entrepreneur, business development expert, and film producer based in Overland Park, Kansas. She holds a master's degree in business from the University of Missouri and brings a multi-background that includes years as a financial analyst and expertise in international business development. Gomer produces films and content for Asian video platforms expanding overseas and leads AI video initiatives with teams in China, serving clients across the U.S., Germany, and the Middle East. Bilingual in Chinese and English after growing up in China and living in America for over a decade, she attributes her success to passion and drive, which fuel her ability to quickly learn and excel in new industries. She advises finding what one is good at and building a path from there, encourages young women to pursue their goals with determination, and values being a good mom, wife, and person who does the right thing while motivating children through positive guidance.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My success comes from passion and drive. Any hard work comes from having that drive and passion, which makes you very strong.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Try to find what you're good at and based on that, fund your path. If you don't know what you're good at, try more. Once you clearly know yourself, you will know how far you can go.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Every woman can do it if this is your goal. Women have a very strong power, but the key is you're driven. Don't hesitate to yourself, don't say no, you can do it.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Be a good mom, be a good person, and do the right thing. It means being a good wife, a good mom, and doing the same to people.
