Her Story
About Celeste
Celeste has built a hybrid career combining landscape design and installation with yoga instruction. With a decade of experience in gardens and landscaping, she founded Ser Soma over two years ago on California's central coast. Her company serves residential clients by implementing sustainable water management through irrigation design and incorporating both native and aesthetically pleasing non-native plants to create accessible, nature-connected spaces. Celeste earned a BS in sustainability studies from UC Riverside during the pandemic, complementing her formal education with hands-on apprenticeship under a local gardener and crew management experience in South Lake Tahoe. She is loosely affiliated with the Hare Krishna group and holds membership in a local gardening club. Beyond her professional work, Celeste has contributed to community projects, including planting 13 fruit trees in a school garden that continues to provide for local children years later. She also enjoys mountain biking as a personal pursuit.

Take it one day at a time. Be your best self every day. It's about the journey, not about the destination. Make small changes for your everyday lifestyle that support you without burning yourself out.
