Her Interview

Ten minutes with Celeste

01What do you attribute your success to?

A lot of it has to do with that drive and discipline that was implemented in my daily life when I was a child. I'm very grateful to my parents for implementing the rigor of study, curiosity, and challenging norms. I'm also very spiritual and believe in God's timing when doors have opened or not.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Listen more and love more because we never know what others are going through. Have more empathy and appreciate the power and grace of listening and how much you can learn there.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

If it's something that you love and cannot see your life without, join. Everyone is a creative and some kind of artist. Train artistically, challenge yourself in education, reach for higher heights. Maintain a positive approach towards rigor and discipline. Advocate for yourself, especially as a female.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Community building, camaraderie, team spirit, respect for all different backgrounds of people and experiences, and understanding of all different backgrounds.
