Ten minutes with Celeste
01What do you attribute your success to?
Ever since I was younger I've always had that main character energy because I was very fortunate to have a warm, empowering support system from my family and friends. I was picky about friends and found quality over quantity. My mom empowers me and tells me my confidence will take me far. Being smart with critical thinking allowed me to feel more agency and empowerment. I knew my worth because I did well in classes. Democracy was a community where we empower each other and are vulnerable. Writing my novel helped me figure out how to stop overthinking by creating a strong main character like Xena Warrior Princess. Reading memoirs of resilient women builds my courage. I want to live a life my future daughter would be proud of and leave a good mark.
