Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my passion for working with architects and my deep interest in sustainability. My background in theater has been surprisingly practical, helping me develop strong public speaking and communication skills that are essential in my work. I’ve learned the value of clear and concise communication, especially as technology and AI increasingly influence our industry, and I rely on these skills every day to connect with clients, partners, and colleagues effectively.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I face in the architecture and construction industry is staying current with rapidly evolving technology. From new design software to innovative building materials and AI-driven tools, it can be a lot to keep up with. I see it as both a challenge and an opportunity, as embracing these changes allows me to provide better solutions and remain competitive in a fast-moving field.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

In both my personal and professional life, I value balance, mindfulness, and connection with the natural world. I find joy and relaxation in hobbies like gardening, bird watching, and crafting—activities that allow me to step away from screens and recharge. These interests remind me of the importance of slowing down, being present, and bringing that same care and attention into my work.
