About Celina
Celina Velez serves as Director of Internal Marketing and Communications and Community Relations at Environmental Air Systems, a mechanical contractor in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She has been with the company for 12 years, advancing from her initial role as a receptionist through various positions, supported by leadership growth opportunities provided by the organization. In her current role, Velez oversees internal culture initiatives, brand awareness efforts, employee engagement programs, and employee recognitions for a workforce exceeding 2,000 people. She manages a team of four and facilitates leadership classes while leading alumni engagement opportunities. Velez recently earned an associate degree from Forsyth Technical Community College and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree at UNC Greensboro.
