Her Story

About Cesily

Cesily Roussopoulos serves as the National Strategic Sales Rep for the Lewiston Tribune, operating as Studio 1892 under TPC Holdings, a family-owned company since 1892 that publishes two local papers in the region. In this role for two years, she develops national, regional, and local advertising campaigns across print, commercial print, digital, and other products, with particular expertise in alternative market advertising for challenging sectors such as guns, cannabis, and politics. Prior to this, she spent one year at Adams multimedia, where she quickly earned the Star Award for turning around a sales territory, and she draws on earlier experiences including graphic design training from the Air Force Marketing Department as a military wife and fine dining service for the Marine Corps. All of her education is self-taught, supplemented by past credentials as a licensed realtor and insurance agent. Roussopoulos values honesty in client interactions, sharing creative ideas without fear, and maintaining a sense of humor while enjoying life and supporting her family through the flexibility of remote work from her home in the woods near Lewiston, Idaho. She focuses on educating business owners about effective marketing tactics and helping them navigate barriers in digital advertising platforms.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Cesily

01What do you attribute your success to?

I approach life with a sharp wit, an open heart, and the firm belief that everything figures itself out in the end. That grounded energy is exactly what I bring to the marketing table. Think of me as your business’s strategic partner: I unpack the tactics, translate the trends, and give you the real tools to grow.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Don’t fear negative feedback; look at it as a gift. It’s someone handing you the exact blueprints to improve. We all need to be knocked off our pedestals occasionally to keep our egos in check. At the end of the day, success comes down to radical honesty. Keep things real. When you mess up, don't make excuses. Just admit, 'I dropped the ball,' fix it, and move forward. Integrity beats perfection every single time.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Never be afraid to share your ideas with clients or leadership. Bring everything you have to the table. Even if a thought doesn't fit the immediate brief, it frequently serves as the exact foundation the team needs to build the final solution. Every great strategy starts with a single, brave suggestion.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

In a world full of digital smoke and mirrors, my number one priority is breaking through the skepticism and online scams that make business owners wary of marketing. Our secret weapon? Trust. We are a family-owned publishing house that has been operating since 1892, running two of the last 80 independent newspapers left in the entire country. The absolute best part of my job is sitting down with local business owners to share our story. Once they see who we are and what we can do, that digital barrier melts away, and we can build a real, impactful partnership rooted in history and modern strategy

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Autonomy and family are my non-negotiables. I’ve traded the traditional 9-to-5 office grind for the freedom of remote work, which is where my productivity truly thrives. This flexibility allows me to build a life tucked away in the woods, where I can focus on my career while being entirely present to care for my family. For me, a great career shouldn't cost you a great life.
