Chaela Holmes

I entered the human resources field because I wanted to make a real difference in people's work lives. Before I got into HR and found my way to where I am currently, I went through a pretty rough employment opportunity. I experienced a difficult situation where I didn't have the support or resources I needed. I decided then that I didn't want anybody to ever feel the way I felt. I wanted people to have somebody to go to, to have that resource when I didn't. That's what got me into human resources - to make a difference. I started as a human resources assistant while working on finishing my bachelor's degree, which I received in 2024. I just completed my master's degree in December of 2025. Now I serve as the Interim Human Resources Manager at Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit, where I handle the human resources functions.
