Her Story

About Chantel

Chantel Cupid is the founder of Wild Body Contour by Chantel, a Philadelphia-based beauty and wellness practice she launched in 2022. After earning her Bachelor's of Science in Fashion and working in corporate roles at a luxury timepiece brand, she pivoted to pursue her passion for women's health, becoming a licensed esthetician in Pennsylvania and a certified wellness coach. Through her business, she provides personalized body contouring, esthetics services, and wellness coaching, drawing on her own experiences managing PCOS to support clients with holistic approaches to skin, body, and overall wellness. She maintains a brick-and-mortar studio where she sees clients daily, emphasizing personalized care, excellent customer service, and building lasting relationships. Chantel attributes her professional success to her upbringing, the ambition modeled by her mother, and the personal challenges she has overcome, while valuing family, loyalty to her goals, and consistency in all endeavors.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Chantel

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would attribute my success to the things I have been through personally, like I've been through a lot growing up. Also the way that I was raised by my mother who worked hard, was very ambitious, and put me through college on her own. I attribute my success to my younger years, my upbringing, what my mother has instilled in me, and my life experiences.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was do what you love, not what you like. Because when you're doing what you love, you're able to put more energy into it and really be passionate about what you're doing, and it doesn't become just a job or just a career. When you're doing what you like, it's like you're just doing something to get by to pay the bills, but if you don't love it, you're not going to put the energy into it.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value my family first and foremost, I'm very family-oriented. I value my ambition because I come from a family of immigrants and saw what they went through, which drives me to be very ambitious. I also value loyalty, not just to family or friends but to your goals, your business, and anything you put your mind to, staying consistent without backpedaling.
