Ten minutes with Chardonnay

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to hard work, dedication, and a continuous commitment to education and professional growth. I am highly goal-driven and detail-oriented, consistently focused on achieving excellence in every aspect of my work. By maintaining a strong work ethic and a commitment to lifelong learning, I am able to adapt to evolving healthcare standards while delivering high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is to not be intimidated by others, but instead to stand tall and confident in who I am and what I bring to the table. It is a reminder to know my worth, trust my abilities, and remain grounded in my values regardless of external pressures or comparisons.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the healthcare industry is to lead with positivity and integrity, as the energy you bring to your team often comes back to you in meaningful ways. Stay open to learning new skills and perspectives, as healthcare is constantly evolving and growth comes from adaptability. Embrace every opportunity to expand your knowledge, remain confident in your abilities, and never stop developing both personally and professionally.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges and opportunities in my field are closely tied to the growing demand for high-quality, accessible home-based healthcare and the need to ensure consistent continuity of care across settings. One ongoing challenge is increasing awareness and visibility of comprehensive homecare services, as well as navigating complex regulatory and compliance requirements while maintaining high standards of patient safety and individualized care. At the same time, there are significant opportunities in expanding concierge nursing, post-acute and chronic care management, and preventive health services in the home setting. The continued growth of telehealth, patient education, and integrated care models also creates meaningful ways to improve outcomes, strengthen patient engagement, and support individuals and families in achieving long-term wellness.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my professional and personal life are embracing every opportunity as a chance for growth and something greater, while remaining bold, intentional, and purpose-driven in my actions. I strive to be a strong listener, ensuring others feel heard and respected, and I prioritize kindness, respect, and integrity in all interactions. At the core of my approach is a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others through compassion, excellence, and service.
