Charis Saunders

Experienced education leader with a strong background in business education and school administration. Currently serving as Assistant Principal at Nash Rocky Mount Schools, overseeing academic programs and supporting staff and student success. Previously taught business education at multiple high schools, including Rocky Mount High School, Wake Forest High School, and Southeast Halifax High School. Early experience includes program support and technology assistance at the Boys & Girls Club and Weldon High School. Holds a Master’s Degree in Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from North Carolina Wesleyan University.
