About Charisma

Charisma Cannon is a nonprofit leadership, community partnerships, public relations, marketing communications, sponsorship development, event planning, fundraising, media relations, and social impact professional with experience building nonprofit campaigns, managing city partnerships, and leading communications initiatives. She currently serves as Founder and Executive Director of ShoeHeals, which she started in 2011 and relaunched in 2022. Her background includes partnerships management with the City of Chicago, communications work with the United States Postal Service, and senior marketing and public relations consulting through Cannon Consulting. She graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Marketing and Public Relations. Cannon is a member of Chicago Women in Philanthropy, Chicago African Americans in Philanthropy, and Senior Venture Partners, where she received the Spirit of Fast Pitch Award in April. She also volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta.
