About Charlene

Over the years, she has performed contract work with tech companies including Pegasus and Wyman Gordon, worked for five years at Verizon in the business department where the team purchased domain names, and operated primarily as a self-employed contractor. Since 2017, she has focused on building her own programming and conducting reorganizations in the field. Henning holds certifications as a rescue diver, wreck diver, and navigation diver, with training in different gases and fields. She earned her high school diploma in January 2025 after attending schools in California and Phoenix, Arizona, where she skipped several grades. She has received an award from Ronald Mariano, Speaker of the House, and state representative D. McKenna.

Ten minutes with Charlene
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received was to keep me off the books, in the sense of just trying to keep what I work for towards my goals and not someone else's. Another thing is being challenged by someone smarter which made me look at who I was.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Definitely do what you can when you're young with good intentions and thorough intentions. Make sure you thoroughly look into everything you do and pay attention to all fields whether you think it's relevant or not.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Challenges are more based around my willingness to want to do them. Financial needs and the economy. The way people live is just not as good as it should be. Things need to take place that would integrate what we're going to do moving forward for stability.
