About Charlotte
Charlotte Benoit is the Technical Director for innovation and renovation in the coffee, beverage, and waters business at Nestle USA. In this role, which she has held for 14 months, she leads a team of 25 people directly and 60 indirectly, overseeing between 100 and 120 projects at any given time focused on key consumer products. She has been with Nestle USA for 12 years and previously spent 10 years working in five different countries across Africa, Europe, and Asia. Benoit earned her master's degree in food industry and process engineering from Oniris in France in 2005, following her technical engineering education in her home country. With more than 20 years in the technical side of a male-dominated industry, she values staying authentic and bringing her own leadership style to the table without compromising her identity. Benoit advises young women entering the field that anything is possible if they trust themselves.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Stay authentic, being myself. After more than 20 years in a male-dominated technical industry, I realized the value of bringing my own experience and leadership style without compromising or copying others.
