About Dr. Charlotte

Dr. Charlotte Brown is a public servant, community advocate, and strategic leader with over a decade of experience in government operations, community outreach, and advocacy, currently she is serving as Chief of Staff (District Office Director) for the PA House Democratic Caucus State Rep. K. Harris, a role she’s been in where she bring together diverse stakeholders, drive decision-making processes, strategize, advise, manage staff, and ensure that community and special projects stay on track and align with the state representative's strategic plans and goals. 


She’s also serve as a Consultant at C & T Brown Consulting, LLC a self-employed role she’s held since 2020, where she and her husband empower dreams and move clients forward through intentional and strategic consulting. She is the founder of The Elite 30 Association and Coalition (www.theelite30ac.com) since 2017, a volunteer Facilitator for Communities That Care Coalition 2014 -2018 and a former Legislative Assistant and Community Outreach Specialist for former State Representative Thomas, where she served constituents of the 181st Legislative District and assisted them with community and state-related issues. 


Across Dr. Brown’s career in public service, advocacy, and community organizing, her work has been driven by a commitment to empowering communities, supporting individuals in navigating government systems, and creating positive change through collaboration and strategic leadership. 


Whether advocating for community needs, or facilitating mental health support, I bring a compassionate, strategic, and results-driven approach that has made a lasting impact on the communities and individuals I serve. 01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to transformative spiritual experiences from GOD, my Husband and Family., My faith has afforded me opportunities unimaginable. These opportunities opened doors to be instrumental in approving my community.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is, “heavy is the head that wears the crown. I was told to stick to what I know and what I’ve learned while working to learn new things as I evolve and advance in skills which improve my areas of expertise and knowledge. And always love GOD, and take care of yourself while you’re serving your community.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering my industry to stay committed, consistent, honest, professional and intentional. They are entering a competitive environment where their better must be the best therefore they must horn your craft daily.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges is the lack of federal funding, financial support, and voter turnout. Individuals and resides will need motivation. The need for more teachers.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important things to me in my work and personal life are GOD, family, morals, values, integrity conservativeness, education and intentionality.
