Her Story

About Charlotte

I am a sports operations and event management professional with a strong background in game day operations, facility management, and community engagement, currently serving as an Operations Intern at Villanova University, a role I have held since May 2026, where I support sports operations and event coordination. I also serve as Field Manager at All-Star Sports Academy, a role I have held since May 2024, where I manage and oversee baseball field operations, communicate with coaches, players, umpires, and supervisors, handle payments, and foster a supportive and competitive environment for players.

I also serve as Administrative Intern at Great Valley Community Organization, a role I have held since May 2025, where I support day-to-day operations, assist with budgeting and financial tracking, manage inventory, support social media strategy and content creation, coordinate community events and programs, and schedule referees and organize sports event logistics.

Earlier in my career, I served as Game Operations Event Staff at Cornell University Athletics for nine months, where I provided logistical and operational support to officials, coaches, and athletes, executed on-field and on-court operations, and handled setup and teardown of event equipment. I also served as Game Operations Event Staff at Ithaca College for six months and as Athletics and Events Center Welcome Desk Attendant at Ithaca College for nearly two years, where I provided customer service and operational support.

Across my career in sports operations and event management, my work has been driven by a commitment to creating exceptional experiences for athletes, coaches, and spectators, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering community engagement. Whether I am managing baseball field operations, coordinating community events, or supporting game day logistics, I bring a proactive, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach that has made a lasting impact on the organizations and events I have served. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue building my career in sports operations and event management.

Ten minutes with Charlotte

01What do you attribute your success to?

It's always been a part of me, like growing up I did a lot of sports and it was just always you have to do get better you have to do this and I think I just brought that into all aspects of my life and it was really my coaches and my parents that kind of pushed me to keep moving forward throughout anything I ever did.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Take advantage of every opportunity that's given to you. This past semester I was able to go to the Super Bowl to March Madness I worked the NASCAR event and I was just kept saying yes to things and putting my name out there even if I was like I don't know if I'm gonna get it like still I just put my name in and you never know you could honestly get it.
