About Charmain
Charmain J. St. Remy is a transformational leader, finance professional, consultant, coach, mentor, and author with more than 30 years of experience across finance, broadcasting, insurance, hospitality, and leadership development. She is the Founder and CEO of InspireVenture, a consulting and coaching organization established after her early retirement in 2023–2024, where she helps professional women, particularly women of faith, gain financial clarity, build confidence for retirement, and develop strategies for their next chapter. Her career has been defined by a commitment to excellence, empowerment, and creating meaningful impact through financial education, mentorship, and personal development.
Throughout her distinguished career, Charmain has held senior finance and leadership positions, including serving as an accountant and financial controller within broadcasting organizations in Saint Lucia, as well as gaining experience in the insurance and hospitality sectors. She spent 12 years with a financial institution, progressing from Accountant to Financial Controller and ultimately serving as General Manager and ex-officio member of the Board of Directors for five years. She also gained international experience as a Finance Manager with CCT Venues in the United Kingdom. A highly qualified finance professional, Charmain holds FCCA and ACCA qualifications, along with certifications in human resources and coaching. She recently completed a bachelor’s degree in business and is pursuing further studies in business and ministry to continue expanding her leadership capabilities.
Through InspireVenture, Charmain combines her expertise in finance, human resources, and leadership to equip individuals with the knowledge and confidence needed to achieve personal and professional growth. She is the author of Mentoring With Grace: A Guide for Women in Leadership and is passionate about helping women develop a legacy mindset, strengthen their financial stewardship, and pursue excellence in every area of life. Beyond her professional work, Charmain serves as President of the Saint Lucia chapter of Women on a Mission, where she leads community service initiatives supporting women and underprivileged children. Her mission is to inspire, equip, and empower others to reach their full potential while creating a lasting legacy of purpose, impact, and transformation.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a lifelong commitment to continuous learning, resilience, adaptability, and a genuine desire to help others succeed. Over the course of more than 30 years, I have gained experience across diverse industries, including finance, broadcasting, insurance, and hospitality, which has strengthened my ability to understand people, solve challenges, and create meaningful solutions. Serving as a General Manager and ex-officio member of the Board of Directors at a financial institution for approximately 12 years allowed me to develop strong leadership skills and deepen my passion for helping individuals and communities navigate financial challenges, especially during the COVID-19 period. These experiences inspired me to launch Inspire Venture, a consulting and coaching business dedicated to financial literacy, financial management, mentoring professional women, and personal and professional development. I believe success comes from using my knowledge and experiences to empower others, and through my finance qualifications, HR and coaching certifications, ongoing education in business and ministry, training programs, and my book Mentoring with Grace, I continue to help women build lasting legacies, achieve financial clarity, and gain confidence for retirement while pursuing the passions and purpose that matter most to them.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge and opportunity in my field right now is building credibility and establishing trust as I continue to grow my business. While I bring extensive experience, expertise, and a strong professional background in finance, leadership, coaching, and mentoring, one of my greatest opportunities is demonstrating the value I provide and helping others recognize me as a trusted resource in the industry. Through sharing my knowledge, developing meaningful relationships, and creating impactful programs, I am focused on building a reputation that reflects both my expertise and my commitment to empowering others.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are excellence, integrity, and service. I believe in bringing my best to everything I do and approaching each opportunity with dedication, precision, and a commitment to delivering quality. My mission is to inspire, equip, and empower individuals, especially women, to reach their full potential, lead with confidence, steward their finances wisely, and pursue excellence in every area of life. I believe that when we invest in people and help them grow, we create a lasting legacy that extends far beyond our own achievements.
