Charmaine Moore

Charmaine Moore serves as the Dietary Director of the Kitchen in the nursing home facility industry. With approximately 15 years of experience in this field, she oversees all kitchen operations, including hiring and training a staff of eight, managing food orders from vendors, ensuring compliance with menus and resident diets, and conducting quarterly assessments. Moore earned a degree in food production management from college and began her career at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, where she worked from 1990 to 2010. During her two decades there, she progressed to a supervisory position and gained comprehensive skills in leadership, sanitation, employee assignments, and both employee and patient food services. Seeking greater personal recognition for her contributions, she transitioned to nursing homes in 2010 to independently manage a kitchen. She has since worked in 11 nursing homes, bringing a strong passion for maintaining clean and organized facilities that meet state and local regulations while prioritizing the individual food preferences and dietary needs of elderly residents.
