Chelsea Brown
Chelsea Brown is a dedicated financial literacy consultant, mindset mentor, and mental health advocate with over a decade of experience empowering individuals to transform their lives. Inspired early by her parents—both entrepreneurs—Chelsea learned the value of working “from the neck up,” which guided her through early roles in customer service, telemarketing, and collections. These experiences strengthened her communication and sales skills, ultimately leading her into the world of financial education, credit consulting, and business funding. Her passion for economic empowerment was also cultivated by her mother, who taught her the importance of making money work for you from a young age.
Today, Chelsea combines her expertise in financial literacy with a deep commitment to mental health awareness. She frequently counsels clients on credit strategies, business funding, and digital product development, while also helping them strengthen their mindset. Her own transformative journey—having navigated personal loss, mental health challenges, and recovery—fuels her mission to advocate for mental wellness. Chelsea has been featured on Action 19 News in Cleveland for her community initiatives, including free skating events and bike rides for children facing depression during the pandemic. She has also spoken for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, providing training to law enforcement on empathetic approaches when interacting with individuals experiencing mental health crises.
An Associate of Applied Science in Sound Design and Audio Engineering from Cuyahoga Community College, Chelsea is also state-certified as a credit consultant and trained in real estate appraisal. She leads her nonprofit organization, Victory Empowerment, which has sponsored several youth mental health initiatives and plans to relaunch its programs in 2026. Outside of her professional work, Chelsea is passionate about fitness, research, and the performing arts—interests influenced by her mother’s background in entertainment. With a powerful personal story and unwavering dedication to helping others grow financially and emotionally, Chelsea Brown continues to make a meaningful impact in her community and beyond.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my mother, who instilled the importance of financial literacy in me from a very young age. She taught me early on that understanding money—how to manage it, grow it, and make it work for you—was the foundation for stability and independence. Those lessons shaped my mindset, my career path, and ultimately my passion for helping others build both financial strength and mental resilience.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me—both in my work and in my personal life—are helping people and advocating for mental health. I believe deeply in lifting others up, whether that’s through financial guidance, mindset coaching, or simply being a support system. I’m especially passionate about mental illness awareness, because of my own experiences and the understanding I’ve gained on that journey. Compassion, service, and empowering others are the core values that guide everything I do.
