About Chelsea
She is a passionate neuroscience researcher, educator, and founder with a deep commitment to expanding access to scientific knowledge and fostering critical analysis in the field, currently serving as Founder of Chen Music Studio, where she teaches private one-on-one lessons in piano, violin, and viola to students aged 7 to 61. She is also the Founder of NerveOn, an educational nonprofit dedicated to critical analysis of the neuroscience field while providing accessible opportunities to students of all levels. She has presented at Columbia University's National Premier Undergraduate Research Conference as the only high schooler present, and has conducted research on brain-computer interfaces for motor recovery and pain-related outcomes through ThinkNeuro, LLC. She is a Cambridge Future Scholar, having received mentorship in neuropsychology and completed an independent research project on cognitive reserve and memory distortion in Alzheimer's patients. She is recognized as a driven, intellectually curious, and impactful young leader who combines academic excellence with entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for education and neuroscience.
