She is chair of the Rising Professionals for the Empire State Association's Executives and won the Rising Star Award. Josephson is also affiliated with the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women initiative, for which she serves as gala chair, and attributes her success to dedication and passion while advising young professionals to volunteer in their communities.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Chelsea

01What do you attribute your success to?

I honestly just think it's just dedication and passion. Like, I'm just one of those people, I'm all in, and when I sign up for something... I work for what I believe in, and that fuels me.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

My sister said this to me... remember what you did as a child, and follow that passion. And that's stood by me to this day.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Get involved with your community. Volunteer for nonprofits. That is the best advice, because you get that... you can put that on your resume. And you also don't know who you're going to meet along the way.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Right now it's our challenges and our opportunity is probably AI... what scares me about AI, I think it's really great for a lot of things, but events is something that's so personable... I think that we have... it scares me that we'll lose that personal touch.
