About Chelsea
Chelsea Sigler has spent 16 years in hospitality after discovering her passion for working with people and beverages early in her career. She began at Olive Garden at age 17, drawn to the fast-paced environment and customer interactions, and later developed expertise in venue management and the beverage side of operations, including wine, cocktails, and mocktails. Her leadership experience includes a General Manager role at the rooftop of the Godfrey Hotel Detroit. She is currently assisting at Freya and Dragonfly in Detroit while pursuing a larger management position. Sigler holds WSET Level 2 certification with plans to complete Level 3, as well as Basic Bar Smarts. She was the winner of the 2026 Best of Bourbon competition for Woodford Reserve and Old Forester. As a hands-on manager, she attributes her success to staying involved on the floor rather than in the office.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Chelsea
01What do you attribute your success to?
I feel like I'm a very hands-on manager, not gonna be hanging around in the office, so just being a part of it, being on the floor, being involved, and being there.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of my best managers told me sometimes this is a problem for now, and sometimes it's a problem for later, and just identifying when that is.
