Her Story
About Chelsea
Chelsea Smock is a board-certified homeopath and integrative health coach based in Austin, Texas, with approximately 10 years of experience in holistic health and five years of professional practice. She specializes in homeopathy, integrative health coaching, holistic wellness, anxiety support, women’s health, and hormonal transitions, taking a whole-person approach that considers mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Her interest in the field grew from a personal experience involving her son’s life-threatening food allergies, which led her to explore homeopathy and ultimately pursue formal education, certification, and professional practice.
Before transitioning into holistic health, Chelsea developed a strong academic and research background. Her experience includes research and teaching roles at the University of Texas at Austin, Indiana University Bloomington, and Boston University, where her work included social psychology, mathematical modeling, fluid mechanics, neuroscience, and interdisciplinary research involving physics, biomedical engineering, and medicine. She later spent approximately 15 years focused on raising her children before returning to professional life through homeopathy. In 2024, she became a Certified Classical Homeopath through the Council for Homeopathic Certification.
Today, Chelsea is the owner of Art of Healing Us, where she works with clients from a holistic perspective, with a particular interest in anxiety and women navigating hormonal transitions such as perimenopause and menopause. She also serves as an Administrator and Faculty member with the International Academy of Classical Homeopathy’s North American Practitioners Program, supporting student recruitment, applications, program administration, and educational programming. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Chelsea enjoys knitting, yoga, and spending time with her three sons, while remaining committed to expanding education and awareness around homeopathy and integrative wellness.

The best career advice I’ve received is to carefully research educational programs and seek guidance from experienced practitioners. My own training and apprenticeships with skilled homeopaths and educators showed me the value of rigorous education and mentorship.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women entering the field to research their educational options carefully and seek out the best practitioners to learn from.
