Prior to joining Protiviti, Chenell held key roles at Deloitte Digital, BlueFletch, and Eaton, gaining extensive experience in consulting, product development, and new product design. She has led cross-functional teams through complex projects, from requirements gathering and design to deployment, and has successfully guided clients in trade compliance, supply chain optimization, and regulatory adherence. I attribute my success to hard work, dedication, and consistently giving my very best each day. Outside of my professional life, I have a passion for traveling and draw inspiration from my experiences as a retired rugby player.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is: don’t let perfection get in the way of progress. This reminder has taught me to focus on consistent improvement, take initiative, and embrace opportunities even when everything isn’t flawless.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to recognize that you deserve to voice your opinion and to be heard. Confidence in your ideas and contributions is key, and speaking up can create opportunities for growth and leadership.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is raising awareness about the support we provide to help businesses shine. At the same time, a key challenge is ensuring the effective production of high-quality products consistently. Balancing these priorities allows us to deliver value while growing our impact in the industry.
