Cherri Sinclair is a seasoned communications professional with over 15 years of experience in strategic communications, media relations, and social media management. As the Director of Global Communications at the Association of Corporate Counsel, she leads comprehensive communication strategies for the executive team, overseeing internal and external messaging, media relations, and public-facing campaigns. The best career advice I’ve ever received is to be a leader in everything you do, focus on achieving your goals, and embrace opportunities to try new things. Equally important is taking pride in your work and the value you bring to every project. This guidance has shaped my approach to my career, encouraging me to lead with confidence, stay ambitious, and continuously grow both personally and professionally.

My advice to young women entering this industry is to speak your mind and recognize that your opinions matter. Do not be intimidated by others—know your worth and stay true to what makes you happy.
