Her Interview

Ten minutes with Cheyanne

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would attribute my success to being a lifelong learner and grower, with relentlessness as the fuel. There's no obstacle that's gonna get in my way. I make sure that I go to bed tired every day because I've done everything in my power to try and reach that human flourishing.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

There's a job, and what a job does is feed the stomach. And then there's a passion, and a passion is meant to feed the soul. The career that you find in life is gonna do both.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

There's a job, and what a job does is feed the stomach. And then there's a passion, and a passion is meant to feed the soul. The career that you find in life is gonna do both.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Family is important. Also eudaimonia from Aristotle's Virtue Ethics, which is human flourishing. I'm a lifelong student and a lifelong grower. There's no such thing as perfection, but I make sure that I go to bed tired every day because I've done everything in my power to try and reach that.
