Cheyenne Eisenhour, CSP, is a Senior Safety Specialist with over 12 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management across industrial, chemical, petrochemical, and manufacturing environments. She has extensive expertise in conducting compliance audits, managing regulatory programs, and implementing safety initiatives that meet OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and ANSI standards. Cheyenne’s background spans upstream, midstream, and downstream operations in commercial and industrial construction, as well as fertilizer and petrochemical processes, giving her a comprehensive understanding of workplace safety challenges and solutions.

Throughout her career, Cheyenne has demonstrated a strong ability to lead risk-based audits, develop corrective action plans, and deliver technical EHS solutions that enhance operational performance and protect employees. I attribute my success to the values my parents instilled in me—hard work and dedication—and to the guidance of my mentor, Cleon Lekus, who helped me navigate my career and taught me important lessons along the way.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering this industry not to be intimidated and to focus on education—knowledge and continuous learning are key to building confidence and advancing in your career.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are community, teamwork, and balance. Within the company, I take pride in volunteering for food donation initiatives that support those in need. Outside of work, I find balance and joy through hiking and attending baseball games—activities that keep me grounded and connected.
