About Cheyenne
Cheyenne Sanford Julien is an author, poet, speaker, and ministry leader whose work centers on Christian literature and the spiritual growth of women. Based in Ganado, Texas, she has spent the past year and a half writing books that draw on lived experience, faith, and personal healing, including Women of One Accord: Rise Up in His Love, Unshaken, The Holy Spirit Journey, Bones of Stone, and Man Up: Wearing the Armor, Walking in Purpose. Rather than producing surface-level content, she writes with the intention of helping women learn to stand, to heal, and to walk confidently in their God-given purpose. Her poetry and prose function less as literary exercises than as declarations of faith, meant to remind readers that they are seen, chosen, and loved. One year ago, Cheyenne founded Women of One Accord, a faith-based nonprofit built to unite women across backgrounds and denominations in growth, accountability, and purpose. The organization grew out of an earlier chapter of her ministry work in Suisun City, California, where she served her community through the Agape Christian Learning Center and Ministries; as her calling expanded and led her to Texas, that mission was reborn under a new name while keeping the same underlying heart. Through Women of One Accord, she leads prayer gatherings and monthly meetings, teaches women's Bible study, and fosters fellowship and community service among the women she serves. Before dedicating herself fully to writing and ministry, Cheyenne built a varied professional background, working as a data analyst and holding roles in data coordination, customer service, warehouse supervision, and independent distribution. She studied business administration at Cleveland State University and also pursued legal studies without completing that degree. Today, she describes her writing and ministry work as a direct calling from God, and she continues to draw on her lifelong faith journey — one that began in childhood church attendance — to guide women and families toward healing, unity, and a deeper walk in faith.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute everything I have accomplished to God. The calling, the words I write, and every opportunity that has come my way did not originate with me — they were given to me. I see myself simply as a messenger who chose to obey the calling placed on my life.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The greatest lesson I've embraced is to trust God's timing completely. While preparation is essential, I believe purpose unfolds according to God's perfect plan rather than human expectations. By remaining faithful, prayerful, and obedient — even during seasons of waiting — I've learned that every delay often becomes preparation for an even greater calling.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women to seek God first and to make prayer a central part of their lives. It's important to get connected — through Bible study and through community with other believers — because that connection provides mentorship and support. I also encourage young women to be willing to share their struggles openly, since doing so allows them to receive the help and hope they need.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The challenges I see are significant: families and communities are struggling, and issues like abuse, addiction, and absent parents are common. On a practical level, there are also real challenges that come with launching and sustaining a nonprofit organization. At the same time, I see great opportunity — in building leadership programs for young women, in opening doors for community support, and in offering people a genuine vision of hope and spiritual growth.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Putting God first is the foundation of everything I do. Beyond that, I hold prayer, compassion, fellowship, service, and spiritual growth as the values that guide both my ministry work and my personal life.

Seek Him First
As women, we carry a lot. We carry our families, our responsibilities, our dreams, our hopes, and sometimes burdens we never tell anyone about.
But somewhere along the way, I learned that I don't have to carry everything by myself.
I can take it to God.
Prayer doesn't always have to be long. It doesn't have to be filled with the perfect words. Sometimes my prayer is simply, "God, I need You."
There is something about spending quiet time with God that allows me to hear beyond all the noise around me. I can talk to Him about the things I understand and the things I don't. I can ask Him for direction before I make a decision. I can sit still long enough to listen instead of always trying to figure everything out on my own.
We seek advice from friends, family, books, social media, and people we trust. There is nothing wrong with that. But how often do we pause and ask, "God, what do You say?"
I believe there is a place in every woman's heart that only God can fill.
So today, before you try to figure out one more thing on your own, find a quiet place.
Talk to God.
Then give yourself enough time to listen.
