Her Interview
Ten minutes with Chikomborero
01What do you attribute your success to?
I would attribute my success to definitely my support system. I've had a lot of support from my family, from my friends, and also from my professors who I met at school, who were always pushing me even when I felt like I couldn't do anything. They help me to actually believe in myself and to work hard, and also my family, I really want to make them proud so they've always supported me from moving from Africa to here.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received is always taking rejection as feedback. Throughout my roles I've always been in client-facing roles and most of the times you hear no, get rejected, so being able to take that rejection as redirection and as feedback on honing your skills.
