Her Story

About Royale

I've been passionate about musical theater since I was about 10 years old, and it's been a part of my life ever since. About 7-8 years ago in high school, I got the opportunity to attend a trade school. I originally wanted to study music, but the closest thing they had was film production, and that's how I was introduced to it. From that moment, I just never looked back. My most consistent positions are dance captain and choreographer. I love putting together the dance moves and putting the movement of the ensembles together, and just seeing it come to life. Within theater, my areas of expertise include musical arrangement, choreography, dance instruction, stage presence, and stage acting. Within film production, I do a lot of everything - lighting, audio, audio engineering, editing, directing, gaffer, assistant director, everything under the umbrella. I feel like I have a very wide umbrella of positions, names, and expertise. Right now, I work project to project, show to show, wherever I can stay busy and stay in my field. I've recently been doing a lot of Hairspray productions in Edison, Georgia and Henry County, Georgia. I move around based on what show is going on and which company production wants me as part of their show. I've been going around to different theater production companies to learn, gain experience, and meet new people.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

”Focus on the goal of next week , rather than the goal of forever”

02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

When people would ask me about my future last year, I used to have a laundry list of things I would say - I want to have this house and this thing. But as of right now, at this point in time in my life, I'd just say in 5 years, wherever God takes me, wherever God wants me. I feel like life has been changing so quickly, but I definitely just want to be successful and happy in the next 5 years, wherever God puts me to be happy and successful.
