About Chloe
Chloe Horton serves as Director of Digital Marketing at Capital Records, overseeing digital and social strategies for the urban roster and developing acts. She has eight years of experience in the digital marketing field, with prior roles including digital marketing specialist at Primary Wave Music Publishing, where she led efforts on catalog acts such as Bill Bibb DeVoe, the Whitney Houston estate, and the James Brown estate, and account executive at Bully Pulpit Interactive. Her career began with internships at Musical.ly, later TikTok, and 300 Entertainment. Horton earned her undergraduate degree from Southern University A&M College and a master's degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University. She is a Recording Academy voting member and member of Grammy U. She contributed to a Grammy Award-winning album and single for artist Leon Thomas. Horton attributes her success to her hard-working parents and values advice that every no brings one closer to the yes that matters most.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to having extremely hard-working parents, who I've got to see firsthand, make a lot of sacrifices for me in real time, just so that I can be where I am.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I would say every no brings you closer to the yes that really matters, the yes that counts the most.
