About Chloe
Chloe Lacey is a Senior Case Manager at Thomas Allen, Inc., where she is dedicated to helping individuals access the resources and support they need to live more independent and fulfilling lives. Specializing in disability services, she brings compassion, professionalism, and a client-centered approach to case management. Since entering the field in 2025, she has quickly demonstrated her leadership potential, earning a promotion to Senior CAIC before transitioning to a team with broader responsibilities that expanded her impact within the organization.
Before beginning her career in case management, Chloe worked in youth ministry while completing her education and spent six years as a stay-at-home mother, experiences that strengthened her empathy, resilience, and commitment to serving others. She earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth in December 2022, successfully balancing the demands of family life and higher education. She is also an active member of the Minnesota Social Services Association (MSSA), reflecting her commitment to professional growth and excellence in social services.
Chloe attributes much of her success to the discipline and values instilled by her grandfather, who emphasized the importance of education, perseverance, and family support. She encourages aspiring professionals—especially young women entering the field—to remain resilient through the early challenges of their careers, recognizing that the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives is well worth the effort. Guided by humility and integrity, Chloe believes in taking responsibility, learning from mistakes, and always putting the needs of those she serves at the center of her work.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to discipline and hard work. I believe that staying committed, maintaining a strong work ethic, and consistently giving my best effort have been the foundation of my personal and professional growth.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my grandfather. He told me, “Chloe, we have worked so hard and sacrificed too much for you not to complete your college education.” His words have stayed with me ever since, reminding me to value perseverance, honor the sacrifices of those who support me, and always strive to finish what I start.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to be patient and persistent. Learning the ropes can be challenging, but once you gain experience and confidence, the work becomes incredibly rewarding. Stay committed, keep learning, and don’t give up—the journey is absolutely worth it.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field is employee retention, as burnout and managing expectations continue to impact long-term engagement.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me in both my work and personal life are humility and integrity. I believe in treating others with respect, staying grounded, and always doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.
