Ten minutes with Chonda

01What do you attribute your success to?

I feel like I contribute my success to the Lord. He was able to get me out of a lot of dark places that I did not know I would honestly ever be able to get out of. Just feeling that determination and motivation, not letting my past and what I had been through define me.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice would be to not let fear hold them back. I had a pretty traumatic childhood and did not have support from family. Being able to use my experience and what I had been through as a way to connect with other people has been beneficial. Don't be afraid to change your mind. The time is going to pass anyway, so you might as well work towards something that you want to do and that you have a passion for.
