About Chrissy
I've been in management and leadership since graduating high school in 1998, starting my career at Red Robin as a hospitality trainer where I traveled and opened multiple restaurants across Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Willoughby. At just [AGE] years old, I was already managing a location in Bonita Springs, Florida. After that store closed, I pursued my interest in broadcasting and graduated from Ohio Center for Broadcasting in 2005, interning at Fox 8 News, Channel 3, WIVM Image Video, and doing freelance production work for ESPN while working part-time bartending. I then worked as an Account Executive at Clear Channel Radio, helping local businesses with marketing and branding to increase awareness and sales. When the economy dropped in 2008, I returned to restaurants as General Manager at 91 Restaurant Group and later I-Corps Restaurant Group, where I assisted with franchise openings and managed my own store and employees for 5 years. After having my son, I became Multi-Unit Operations Manager at Gervasi Destinations, managing two facilities and 100 employees, handling all training, onboarding, orientations, and overall operations. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I had to step back from my career, and after completing treatments, I'm now Office Manager at Early Childhood Resource Center, which allows me to balance my career with my son's busy third-grade sports schedule. I continue to develop myself professionally with certificates in Microsoft 365 with Teams and Copilot, Leadership Edge Level 1 from Akron University, and Project Management Essentials, because I believe in evolving with the world and staying ahead of the game as times change.

01What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I believe that developing ourselves and evolving with the world is incredibly important, especially as times are changing. The world is changing, and it's not just about doing things the way we've always done them - it's about staying at a higher level and being relevant within the times that are changing. After COVID, everything shifted, and I think being ahead of the game is crucial. Leadership changes as the world changes, so we need to keep learning and adapting. I've taken courses in Microsoft 365 with Teams and Copilot, Leadership Edge, and Project Management because I believe in continuously developing myself and staying current with the digital world we're moving into. It's about being proactive and making sure you're evolving alongside the changes happening around us.
