Christie Edwards

Christie Edwards brings more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare field to her current role at Inside Edge Consulting Group, where she has worked for over a year. In this position, she travels between Chicago and Detroit to provide clinical trials education to medically underserved populations, including African American, Latin, Native American, LGBTQ+, older adults, veterans, disabled, and neurodivergent communities. Her career path began after a professional dance career, leading her to administrative roles at major Chicago hospital systems, followed by positions as a program manager for a residency program and community-based health education work. Edwards earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Northwestern University and a master's in public health with a focus on community health from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Beyond her professional work, she is a Reiki master who certifies others as practitioners, a sound healer, and an herbalist through her business at sagehouseapothecary.com. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.
