Christie May

I am the Principal Interior Designer behind Rockwell Interiors, a studio I founded in 2014 and have been running self-employed for over a decade. Based in Solana Beach, I focus on residential and commercial interiors—spaces that need to work as beautifully as they look.

Before starting my own firm, I spent six and a half years as a Senior Designer and Project Manager at Jules Wilson Design Studio, followed by nearly five years at McCormick & Wright. Those roles taught me how to lead projects, manage client relationships, and execute high-end design from concept through installation. I hold a BA in Interior Design from San Diego State University.

My approach is collaborative and detail-driven. I don't design for portfolios—I design for the people living or working in the space. That means listening first, then creating something intentional, livable, and lasting.
