About Christie
I am a mental health and substance use professional with more than five years of experience providing counseling, recovery support, and clinical supervision in behavioral health settings.
Currently, I serve as a Clinical Supervisor at PA Treatment & Healing (PATH), where I support counselors and work directly with individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges. My work focuses on delivering evidence-based treatment, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and group therapy, while helping clients build the skills and resilience needed for long-term recovery.
In addition to my clinical work, I have a strong background in education and mentorship. I previously worked as a Psychology and Sociology Tutor at Northampton Community College, assisting students with academic writing, test preparation, and deeper understanding of behavioral science concepts.
Leadership and community engagement have also been important parts of my journey. As President of the Psi Beta Honor Society, I helped organize the first Mental Health Awareness event on the Monroe Campus and participated in initiatives aimed at raising awareness around mental health and social issues.
I am passionate about helping individuals heal, supporting professional growth within counseling teams, and promoting awareness and understanding of mental health and addiction recovery.
