Christina Chislom - Banner: Speaker: Christina Chislom-Banner, Minister, Author, Life Coach, Better Than Before CoachingWhat does being an Influential Woman mean to you?Christina Chislom-Banner: Being an influential woman means that you are able to encourage, uplift, and inspire not just women, but men and women of all ages, all races, all over the globe in any sphere of influence, you're able to influence. Through all of the tests and trials, through your learning, your hard work, your endeavors, your business, your failings and your success stories, all of these things come together in a beautiful, tapestry, if you will, that you're able to share, it's able to be seen, heard and felt, being influential. Means that nothing that you've been through has been wasted and that there is something on the inside of you that is the answer, the solution to someone's problem, and so being influential means that when you walk into a room, the atmosphere shifts because you know who you are and that glow. That confidence, that, spark on the inside of you, it radiates and it causes someone present to say whatever she has, I need a little bit of that. And so that's what being influential and influential woman means to me, being able to uplift, encourage and inspire another woman. Through your life, your lifestyle, how you treat people, how you respond, and what you do, it matters what you do, it matters who you're around, who you surround yourself with, and so being influential, it has to do with you knowing who you are, knowing your worth, and then I heard one time I love this saying, know your worth and then add tax. And so being influential means that you know who you are and then the ability to share that, share a piece and when we leave here one day, I don't know about you, but I believe one day we are going to meet Jesus and there's a heaven or hell that we may end up in. And being influential is being able to encourage somebody along the way and then leave here empty. Leave here leaving a legacy, leave here you've emptied out, you've poured out of everything and anything that God has placed on the inside of you so that when you see Jesus, you can celebrate. That I know because you hear him say, well done, my good and faithful servant, and you can say with confidence, I know I ran my race well and so I hope that makes sense, but that's what being an influential woman means to me. Not just good enough. In your own closet, but taking who you are, who God created you to be, and letting your light shine so that the world can see and be influenced by your behavior, by your style, by, your business, your ministry, whatever you touch. It turns to gold and that influences everyone that you come in contact with. What's one piece of advice you would give to younger women chasing their dreams?Christina Chislom-Banner: If you as a young woman. Are chasing your dreams. Let me tell you something. You're going to want to give up. You're going to want to throw in the towel. Some of you may get distracted by the ones chasing their dreams on the right and on the left of you. But let me encourage you, let me give you this advice. Don't you dare give up. And watch this. Keep your blinders on. Stay focused. Don't look to the left or to the right. There may be 25 people that have the same business idea that you have, but they can't do it like you. Come on, somebody. And so I want to encourage the younger women, chase your dreams, sis, chase your dreams. Can't nobody get to that finish line and cross it like you can. As a matter of fact, there are others waiting on the other side of the finish line that are just like you. Have something that they can hold on to. Those, those little girls that they look like you, they sound like you, they dream big like you, but life causes them to feel like they're not worthy. They're not enough. It'll never happen for them. When you chase and you achieve and capture your dreams, and they become a reality for you, that is more. That is all of the celebration. That is all of the validation that you will ever need. And so don't give up no matter how hard it gets, no matter how much you want to give up. I want to tell you, keep fighting, keep dreaming, and don't you stop until you finish, until you cross the finish line.

Her Interview
Ten minutes with Christina
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to prayer and resilience, along with destiny helpers who have supported me along the way. Prayer is at the top of the list, followed by people who help through praying, pushing, or providing financial support, and who see greatness in me and encourage me to become the best version of myself.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I received is to not limit myself and not undercut myself. Know your worth and value, put a price on it, expect to be respected and appreciated at that level. Know who you are, what God has put inside you, don't discount what you have to offer or the time you've invested, and function and flow and create out of that.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell them to believe in yourself and believe in your story. Don't look to the right or to the left because you have something unique, powerful, and individual that only you can bring. Keep going, keep pressing, keep pushing until that thing is birthed out of you.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The challenge is to keep creating in a world full of creative people, to stay current and engaged, to keep producing without getting distracted, and to stay focused. With so many responsibilities like ministry, being a wife, and being the strong one spiritually, it's easy to get burnout or stressed, but you have to stay focused and on top in this AI and digital world even if you're not tech savvy.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are faith or God, family, and stewardship. You have to do them well, all of them.
