Her Interview
Ten minutes with Christina
01What do you attribute your success to?
My determination comes from my grandparents and the fact that I come from a family of immigrants. Discrimination and discipline played a role too. You have to be disciplined. My heritage and my parents' and grandparents' struggles made me stronger and more determined.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Of course, the cliche, never give up, but find the strength within yourself to keep moving forward, because you can. And you owe it to yourself to keep moving forward. Don't dwell on things that didn't work out, just look forward to the ones that will.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Definitely being true to yourself. Never lose touch with who you are, and what your ambitions are, as well as what your fears are. Always find strength in your family, and that one or two friends that you know you can count on. Surround yourself with people because we derive great energy from others.
