Her Interview

Ten minutes with Christina

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my determination and resilience. Becoming a young mother fueled my drive to prove that I could succeed despite other people’s doubts.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is that delegation is okay—don’t burn yourself out. Make time for your family and relationships, and strive for a healthy balance between work and life.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't take anything personal. Use any insults or any comments as fuel for inspiration, like motivation to keep going. In a way, we're kind of more detailed-oriented, so we're generally gonna do better.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The first year was really hard and scary because Florida summers are really slow. Time management can get really hard when you're busy. Pricing is one of the hardest things. Trial and error with equipment, vehicles breaking down, CRMs, and over-scheduling.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, honesty, having respect for everything. Treating people how you want to be treated. Being on time.
