Her career includes leadership roles with Reddit, Turner Broadcasting/Warner, CNN, and organizations across the entertainment and benefits industries.

Before co-founding AMERIGEPARK, Christina served as Head of Inclusion & Emerging Talent at Reddit, where she helped support the company’s rapid growth and organizational transformation. She developed future-talent programs that brought in more than 300 interns and 100 graduates while achieving 85% retention and 70% promotion rates, launched Candidate Connect with a 90% close rate among top candidates, and expanded employee resource groups to 11 communities. Christina also incorporated HR analytics into talent strategy, using data to better understand mobility, engagement, retention, and performance. She holds an associate degree from the University of Phoenix and is an alumna of Chief.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Christina

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to sound judgment, adaptability, and a willingness to back my decisions with hard work. After more than 20 years across different industries, I’ve developed strong pattern-recognition skills that help me quickly identify challenges, recognize opportunities, and understand how people, operations, and market positioning connect. I trust my instincts while remaining open to changing course when the facts require it, and I’m willing to ask difficult questions, make informed decisions, and take responsibility for the outcomes.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I give is to never sacrifice what you can learn for what you can earn. Every opportunity should leave you with knowledge and skills that expand what you can take on and ask for next. I also believe you have to address difficult things rather than avoid them—have the hard conversation, learn what intimidates you, and be open to feedback. You can pay the piper now or later, but avoiding discomfort usually makes the cost greater.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Keep climbing, stay in the game, and know your worth. You can communicate thoughtfully while still setting firm boundaries and expecting respect. In male-dominated industries like construction and tech, don’t let being outnumbered make you feel out of place. Clearly communicate the value you bring, the problems you’ve solved, and the impact of your decisions, while staying open to feedback and growth. You can still have more to learn and deserve respect at the same time.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

South Florida’s continued growth creates significant opportunities in custom estates, restaurants, boutique hotels, and other spaces where people gather. At the same time, tariffs, rising fuel costs, and construction input costs make early financial transparency essential. I’m also excited about AI’s potential to improve efficiency, decision-making, and the client experience by helping teams access information and identify issues sooner. Ultimately, I see an opportunity to make the construction experience as strong as the finished product through better communication, thoughtful procurement, and proactive project management.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, belonging, and accountability are central to how I approach both work and life. I want my decisions to align with my values, even when doing so is difficult, and I believe people deserve to feel heard, valued, and recognized for their contributions. Accountability also means being willing to give and receive honest feedback, admit when I’m wrong, and take responsibility for my actions. Above all, I strive to bring those same values home, making sure the people I love receive the same care, consideration, and follow-through I bring to my professional life.
