Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I really believe that I'm such a driven individual, personally. I'm very driven, I'm a very numbers-driven person, and the data that I get to produce and bring forth within our industry is of crazy high importance to me. I'm like psycho with the numbers, I should say. I just always want to make sure that things are done and complete, and especially with call volume, you know, not just sitting around and waiting for our phones to ring, and all those things that we do to make sure that we do have the proper call volume for our technicians. It's a big number game for me. I'm just so driven to just do it, and get it done, and get it done right.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Early in my career in nursing, when I was working as a nursing assistant, I had a mentor who gave me some advice not to be afraid to go after my dreams and goals, and to not be afraid of changing my dreams and goals. We used to talk a lot about nursing and whether that's the field I wanted to be in, and that's when I was determining that I didn't want to be in that field, and I didn't know what direction to go. It's always scary to change. He gave me the advice to make sure that I don't use that fear as anything that's going to hold me back. Like, you're never going to get anywhere if you just live in fear.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The advice I would have is not to be afraid to professionally speak up. We don't want to speak out of emotion, we want to speak on true data, true information, and bring to light the solutions that would solve everything moving forward.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value balance, resilience, and staying connected to nature, and I love spending my spare time gardening, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors to recharge both personally and professionally.
