Her Story
About Christina
As Operations Manager for a new medical school in Northwest Arkansas, Christina Harris leads operations for the clinical skills program. Her healthcare journey started in her late teens as a pediatric CNA before taking a distinct turn as a diesel engineman in the United States Navy. After transitioning into human resources, she brought that blend of expertise back to healthcare, and has spent a decade in medical education.
Building on her background in HR and project management, Christina is currently pursuing a second advanced degree in IT product management to help advance health tech, women’s health, and healthcare access.
Reflecting on her path, her advice for other women is simple: "Stay curious, give yourself permission to grow, and remember that you can redefine your career and your life at any point."
