About Christina
Christina Ilczyszyn brings more than three decades of experience in the healthcare field to her work in compliance and AI. She began her journey in high school through an intense program that prepared her for state testing as a nurse assistant and later became the HOSA champion for physical therapy assisting in Mississippi. After moving to Florida, she worked as a lab assistant before transitioning into coding, billing, and compliance roles, where her skills in querying electronic data systems allowed her to advocate for policy changes, such as securing coverage for radiation treatments. She earned a master's degree in criminal justice with an emphasis in compliance and now runs her own consulting and art businesses in Cape Coral, Florida, using her intrinsic understanding of AI and data systems to support both professional operations and creative projects. Christina has also been accepted to the mental health program at FGCU.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
You can't eat a whole elephant in one day. Get out of your own way and stop waiting for perfection. Release it and allow it to be, because it's never going to be perfect when you first release it, but it will work out its issues through the process.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't take no for an answer, but with respect of safety and having enough wherewithal to know when you can. Empower women to have enough self-trust within yourself.
