Christina Jordan
Christina Jordan is a dedicated community advocate, nonprofit co-founder, and emerging business leader committed to creating pathways of opportunity for individuals of all abilities. With a background in psychology, biochemistry studies, and disability advocacy, Christina’s career has been anchored in service and empowerment. After spending seven years working within a disability network, she and her mother co-founded Safeway Community Services and Outreach Program—a nonprofit focused on supporting the disabled community through autism awareness initiatives, caregiver resources, education, and the SafeTrack mentorship program. Under her leadership, the organization has expanded into new markets, secured grants, and helped multiple students successfully complete their programs.
Christina’s professional journey reflects both versatility and purpose. Beyond her nonprofit work, she has built experience in wealth management, property management, and corporate sales, most recently serving as a Polyethylene Sales Representative at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company. Currently completing her Executive MBA at Texas Southern University, she plans to continue her business education through Harvard’s Business Entrepreneurship Program. Christina is also a licensed leasing professional, a certified life insurance agent, and an advocate for women in business, with aspirations to join the National Association of Women in Business.
A passionate athlete, Christina has balanced her professional pursuits with a growing presence in the world of competitive pickleball, crediting the sport with helping her maintain focus, self-care, and discipline. Her commitment to service extends to involvement with organizations such as Disability Network Wayne County, Autism Speaks, Easter Seals, and AVA, supporting women affected by AIDS and domestic violence. Through her work, education, and advocacy, Christina continues to uplift communities, expand resources for families, and champion the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the incredible support and guidance I received from mentors like Venus Williams, Carla Butler, and Nadia Alkaway. Their influence helped shape my path, from winning a Challenger tournament in professional pickleball to continuing my work as a mentor to three interns through my nonprofit program, SafeTrack.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell young women entering the nonprofit world to follow your heart and stay true to the work you’re passionate about—stay committed, create your own success, and trust that the right opportunities will come naturally when you lead with purpose.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me—both in my work and personal life—are inclusivity, connection, and balance. Pickleball’s inclusive nature inspires how I show up for others, while time spent hiking, writing poetry, and being with my family keeps me grounded and reminds me of what truly matters.
