Ten minutes with Christina

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the unwavering support of my family and the example set by my father. Watching him work tirelessly instilled in me the value of a strong work ethic, perseverance, and determination. His dedication inspired me to approach every opportunity with commitment and resilience, and those lessons continue to guide me both personally and professionally.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was to consider a career that allowed me to be versatile. I chose Business Administration and it set me on a path to a rewarding and fulfilling career.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to embrace opportunities with confidence and never let stereotypes define your potential. Ask questions, set ambitious goals, and take ownership of your career development. Don’t let fear hold you back—believe in your abilities, stay proactive, and pursue every opportunity to grow.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is the continued underrepresentation of women. While progress has been made, there is still significant opportunity to encourage more women to pursue careers in the environmental field and related disciplines. Increasing diversity will bring fresh perspectives, strengthen collaboration, and help address the complex challenges our industry faces.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that matter most to me in both my work and personal life are family and teamwork. My family provides the foundation and support that motivates me to do my best, while teamwork reminds me that the greatest achievements come through collaboration, trust, and helping one another succeed.
