Christina Moran, MSIO, SHRM-CP is a seasoned Human Resources professional with approximately six years of experience in the field, including nearly two years as HR Manager at Montefiore Einstein Health System. She brings a unique blend of advanced education, strategic HR expertise, and practical leadership experience to her work, leveraging her Master’s degree in Industrial–Organizational Psychology to integrate workplace psychology with human resources strategy. Christina’s primary areas of expertise include human resources management, labor relations, recruitment and staffing strategy, employee relations, organizational development, HR compliance, and workforce optimization. 01What do you attribute your success to?

Christina attributes her success to education, persistence, continuous learning, and adaptability. Her transition from retail and healthcare into HR, combined with earning a master’s degree and completing 25 HR-related certifications, reflects her strong commitment to professional growth and excellence.

02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

In my field, some of the biggest challenges I currently face include managing staffing shortages, navigating complex labor relations, balancing recruitment demands with organizational needs, and staying ahead of evolving workplace regulations. At the same time, I see significant opportunities for growth, particularly in advancing into strategic roles such as an HR Business Partner, expanding my influence within organizational leadership, and shaping workplace culture and the overall employee experience. Over the next two years, I am focused on pursuing advancement into a business partner role to further contribute to both organizational success and employee engagement.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
