Prior to her career in finance, Christina served in the military, worked in flight operations, and spent 16 years as a 911 dispatcher in southern California. These experiences helped shape her commitment to service, problem-solving, and remaining calm under pressure, qualities she continues to bring to her work with clients today.

A dedicated member of the Pueblo West community, Christina is actively involved with the Pueblo West Women's League, Rotary, the Latino Chamber of Commerce, and the Pueblo West Rotary. Her volunteer efforts have included supporting local charitable initiatives, community events, and fundraising activities that strengthen the communities she serves.

Christina attributes her success to a strong support system and the Midwestern work ethic instilled in her by her blue-collar upbringing. Raised by a factory worker and a truck driver, she learned the importance of hard work, perseverance, accountability, and following through on commitments. Integrity, honesty, and transparency remain the foundation of both her professional and personal life.

She is passionate about helping people from all walks of life, from middle-income families working toward financial security to high-net-worth individuals seeking to preserve and grow their wealth. Christina believes that trusted relationships and personalized advice are as important as ever in a rapidly evolving financial landscape. She is also a strong advocate for women in financial services, encouraging the next generation of professionals to embrace challenges, stay resilient, and remain confident in their abilities. As technology and artificial intelligence continue to reshape the industry, she believes financial advisors play a vital role in helping clients turn information into meaningful, personalized financial guidance.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Christina

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a strong support system and the Midwestern work ethic I developed while growing up in a blue-collar family. With a factory worker and a truck driver as parents, I learned early on the importance of hard work, persistence, accountability, and honoring my commitments. Those values continue to guide how I serve my clients today. Whether I'm working with high-net-worth families, business owners, or middle-income individuals striving to build their financial future, I am committed to providing personalized guidance, building lasting relationships, and helping each client achieve their unique goals with confidence.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of the most meaningful pieces of advice I’ve received is to focus on what is right in front of you. I take that to heart by giving my full attention to the people and priorities in front of me, whether that’s helping a client, engaging in my community, or making memories with my family. Stay present in the moment.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage young women entering the financial industry to stay resilient, work hard, and not be discouraged by setbacks. Success rarely happens on the first try, and challenges are often part of the journey. The key is to keep learning, continue growing, and remain persistent when obstacles arise. I also believe it's important to have confidence in your abilities, trust your instincts, and keep moving forward, even when others may not see your potential. Persistence, determination, and self-belief can create opportunities that might not otherwise exist.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges facing the financial services industry today is finding the right balance between rapidly advancing technology and the value of personal financial advice. While technology and artificial intelligence can provide access to information and improve efficiency, they cannot replace the insight, understanding, and relationships that come from working with a trusted advisor. I believe financial professionals play an important role in helping clients navigate the growing amount of information available and translating it into guidance tailored to their unique goals and circumstances. At the same time, I see tremendous opportunities for innovation, continued growth within the profession, and greater representation of women in financial services, which will strengthen the industry and better serve future generations of clients.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity is one of the values I hold most closely, both professionally and personally. I believe trust is built through honesty, transparency, and consistently doing what is right. Those principles guide how I work with clients, make decisions, and engage with my community. By leading with integrity, I strive to build lasting relationships and help others achieve their goals with confidence.
