About Christina

Christina Robson entered the field of respiratory care in 2020 amid the pandemic, serving in the ICU as a respiratory therapist where she cared for patients during a particularly demanding period. Passionate about supporting new professionals, she took on students during her hospital work and later transitioned into education last year as a college professor for respiratory care. In this role, Robson emphasizes mentoring and uplifting her students, drawing from her own experiences to provide the guidance she once sought. She is pursuing her master's degree with the goal of advancing to a program director or dean position to further support students on a broader scale. Outside her professional duties, Robson volunteers with the Special Olympics through her church and with local youth sports programs. She attributes her accomplishments to hard work and determination, noting that the challenges of the COVID-19 era strengthened her resolve as she focused on the needs of her family, patients, and students.

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to hard work and never giving up. There were times especially during COVID where it would have been easy to give up but I knew others relied on me - my family, my patients, my students. I knew that it was rough right now but maybe in 5 years time I would look back and say that wasn't really that bad and I got through it. The successes of that and being able to accomplish that and move past everything we did especially during COVID made me stronger.
