Christina Romo

Christina Romo serves as Assistant Director of Career Services for the online division at the College of Healthcare Professions, where she has worked since 2015. In this role, she connects graduates of programs such as medical assisting and dental assisting with entry-level employment opportunities by hosting virtual career events on platforms including Zoom and Teams and by building relationships with employers across Texas. Romo collaborates with the organization's nine Texas campuses to support students and graduates in Houston and throughout the state. A native of Houston's east end, she has served as a board director for the Easton Chamber of Commerce for five to six years, where she helps organize educational symposia, scholarships, and community events. She also volunteers with Combined Arms and the U.S. Family Health Plan in support of the military community, drawing from her family's service background. Romo attended Sam Houston High School in Houston and earned her GED.
